Newton
Agrawal, MD, PhD is a Board Certified Physician/Psychiatrist, licensed in Florida, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. He is a graduate of Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City,
TN, next to the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. He is an
American-born U.S. citizen, a resident of Tennessee, Florida and California, and works with veterans at the Loma Linda, California VAMC and with patients within the communities of Florida, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He completed his
undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT
(ranked #1 for engineering) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a Ph.D. in
neuroscience at McGill University (highly ranked in neuroscience) in Montreal,
Quebec Canada, and his MD at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine
prior to finishing up at Saint James School of Medicine, headquartered in
Chicago, Illinois, where he completed his medical school, before starting
residency at Quillen/ETSU. He won a four-year full Army ROTC scholarship under
the GI Bill for college but forgo this after six months in college to focus on
medicine. He has also engaged in
research at Rush University Medical School, The University of Chicago Pritzker
School of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School. He is involved in academics,
clinical neuroscience and enjoys working with U.S. Military, combat veterans
and patients in the Southern California region, Florida, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
